How do we observe?


In science, we have been talking about what science is, what a magnifying glass is, and how we observe things.  Today, students walked around the room with a magnifying glass and drew a picture of an object they found.  After students drew their picture they brought it to me and I wrote down three things they had observed about the object.  Students used their sense of sight, touch, smell, and hearing to come up with things to write down about the object they had observed.
