MAKE A POSTER to PROMOTE READING – WEEK of Feb. 6th Teachers and/or students can pick up paper in the Media Center. Use colored pencils, markers or crayons (no paint please). Posters should have big, bright pictures and a simple caption to encourage people to read (all words must be spelled correctly to be displayed)! Return completed posters to the Media Center.
PLAY AUTHOR TRIVIA - TUESDAY, Feb. 7th, Feb. 14th & 28th, THURSDAY, Feb. 9th & 16th & MONDAY, Feb. 27th. Teachers will receive an email by 12:30 p.m. with a link to an author video and trivia questions. Responses should be sent to Mrs. Worman by 2:30. All classes who answer correctly will be entered in a drawing to win a free book.
WEAR A T-SHIRT YOU CAN READ – FRIDAY, Feb. 17th & 24th. All shirts must be appropriate for school.
GUESS THE MYSTERY READER – TUESDAY-FRIDAY, Feb. 21st-24th. A mystery reader will read over the PA system each afternoon. Classes can guess the reader and/or the book being read. All classes who answer correctly will be entered in a drawing to win a free book.
