Lock Down
I have had parents ask about lock downs and when they occur. We never know when they are going to call a lock down but we have them multiple times a year. We tell the kids that we are practicing incase we were everyone to have the real thing happen. I have explained to kids that we are playing hide-n-seek and we don't want them to find us. Just an FYI....we had another practice lock down today.
Book Order
I will be sending home a book order today. It will be the LAST BOOK ORDER OF THE YEAR. Please put your order in online or return to me by Monday, April 7th. This is a great time to order books for summer reading, birthdays, etc. Please let me know if you have questions. Thanks so much!

Coin for a Day Challenge
During the week of March 17th our
school is participating in a grade level coin challenge. Each day represents a different type of
coin. The classroom generating the
highest overall total will receive $50 in books from Scholastic!
· PENNY MONDAY, March 17th
· NICKEL TUESDAY, March 18th
· DIME WEDNESDAY, March 19th
· QUARTER THURSDAY, March 20th
· ANY COIN FRIDAY, March 21th
If you have loose coins hiding under couch
cushions, floor mats, in pockets, or the bottom of your bag, put them to
good use by giving students more access to books they’ll want to read! Our
school will use the donations to purchase books for classroom libraries.
