Open House

We will be having an Open House on Wednesday, August 29th from 3:00-6:00 pm.  The Kindergarten grade level presentation will be in the Media Center at 4:00 pm.  We will also have a school picnic from 5:00-7:00 Wednesday evening.  Hope to see everyone there! 

 Feel free to bring classroom supplies to open house or Parent-Teacher Interviews (please bring your child) on Thursday, August 30th.

Madison LOVES her technology!

Madison is loving using my iPhone.  She loves her animal flashcards and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Have you been using your families iPod or iPhone this summer to play learning games?

Busy Summer

Pinterest is addicting!  I have spent the last several weeks making new centers for Daily 5.  Here are a few pictures or some of the things that I have made.

Monday was an exciting day because some of the other kindergarten teachers in the district came over and we had a make-n-take day.  I am going to have a ton of laminating to do when I get back to school!  Hope everyone is staying busy!

4th of July Parade

I can't believe it is almost July. I will be coming to Albert Lea for the parade. Can't wait to see everyone there! I have missed you guys!! Make sure you look for me.

1st Week of Summer

I hope everyone's summer is off to a great start.  I miss seeing and talking to you already!  Madison and I have been very busy at home.  We are working on developing her muscles in her arms, legs, and neck.  She has been doing tummy time on her baby einstein mat and she has been playing the piano with her legs.  I will post pictures of her soon!  I hope you have started your summer packet and have been reading some.  Maybe when you are in 1st grade you can come back to kindergarten and read to the new kindergarteners.  What do you think about that?  Talk to you soon!

Report Cards

will be send home on Wednesday, May 30th in your child's backpack.  They are yours to keep - they do not need to be returned.  I will also be sending home the AIMSweb sheet with your child's scores for the school year.

Summer Packets

I will be sending home summer packets tomorrow (Wednesday).  There is an activity to do each day.  I hope this will keep your child busy and thinking about school.  Please continue to read and practice sight words over the summer.  If you need anything or have questions at all, please feel free to contact me over the summer.  I would be happy to help.  The Dollar Tree is also a great place to find workbooks, flashcards, etc for the summer.
