Making Cards for 3rd Grade Buddies
Our class spent the morning making goody bags and encouragement cards for our 3rd grade reading buddies. Our buddies have their MCA tests next week so we wanted to wish them good luck and put in a few goodies to help them get through their test.

Special thanks to United Way...
United Way came and visited us today. They had volunteers read us a book and they gave a copy of the book to each student in our class. United Way is a local organization made of community members who try to find the best way to help their neighbors in need. They support local programs that are focused on Education, Income, and Health.
The book presented to the students was written by a local author, Charlene Hessler. The pictures were drawn by Alison Brackey. Charlene and Alison will be at Northbridge Mall on Saturday, April 20th to autograph the books.
