Last Day

I had a wonderful last day with the kids today.  I will miss them tons while I am gone on maternity leave.  I will be back on Thursday, June 5th and Friday, June 6th (Graduation day).  Please let Mrs. Niest or I know if you need anything before then. 

 

 

I will hand out summer work packets for the kids on graduation day and a disc full of pictures that I have posted on the blog, etc.  Feel free to take the disc to Wal*Mart or somewhere to have the pictures printed.

Last Day

Dear Kindergarten Parents,

I hope that everyone is enjoying their spring. I enjoyed talking with each and everyone of you at conferences a few weeks ago.  I will be going on maternity leave on Monday, April 21^st at which point a substitute will take over for me. My last day with students will be Thursday, April 17th.  I plan to return for the last two days of school (June 5^th and 6th) barring any complications.

In my absence Mrs. Neist will be working with your children. She has substitute taught for me on a few occasions this school year.  Prior to my absence, Mrs. Neist will be in the classroom getting to know the students and what their specific goals and objectives are. I am confident that she will do a wonderful job while I am away, and if she has any questions she has Mrs. Sorenson and the other kindergarten teachers at hand to help as needed.

Please send tennis shoes...

Students need tennis shoes for gym class and recess.  They cannot wear flip flops on the playground (wood chips).  Make sure they are dressed for warmth (sweatshirts and light coats are appreciated.  We go to recess in the morning so it is usually chilly outside still.  Thanks!

Last Day

I am thinking that I will be going on maternity leave starting, Tuesday, April 15th.  My last day at school would then be on Monday, April 14th.  I plan to return to school on Thursday, June 5th.  I will be sending home a letter from me and my long-term sub early next week.  Please be looking for it. As always let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!
