Buddy Breakfast

From Mrs. Zwolesnki's Blog: The students at Hawthorne Elementary enjoyed "Be a Buddy" Breakfast this morning. Each student invited an adult buddy to have a light breakfast of muffins, juice, and coffee. The staff was decked out in orange Be a Buddy t-shirts and greeted, served, and buddied with students. "Be a Buddy" bracelets were handed out to every student in the school. One free book was available to every student that attended.

Thanks to all the families and adult friends who buddied up with our students!

I really appreciate it.  Despite the weather the kids had a wonderful time.  Each student got a pumpkin, sticker, and sucker to take home.  Thank you to the PTO for paying for the bus and the pumpkins for each student.  Thanks to Chad and Lisa Peterson for letting us come pick such nice pumpkins at their pumpkin patch!
